The Beggining
It is with great pleasure that we extend a warm welcome to Dustin (Smash) Ortega, the owner and founder of Smash Cabs, and his wonderful wife Erika Ortega, who are celebrating their 30th anniversary this year. Dustin's journey began in 2012, steering through downtown in cabs, which ignited a passion leading him to be the owner of three original bikes and a charming shop. The very first Smash bike, a symbol of his lasting commitment, remains with him. Although its design has evolved, its core essence has been preserved.
From his humble beginnings with a small shop to his current status as a rapidly expanding business, he has invested a great deal of effort to become a highly successful pedicab manufacturer.
With a commitment to innovation and hands-on craftsmanship, Dustin ventured into producing his own line. A dozen years later, we honor the flourishing of a shop brimming with stylish pedicabs, a tribute to the steadfast support from family and friends. Through the years he has made and styled many cabs. by popular demand people love his unique style and taste for the designs that have come along.
